Social Media Marketing for Long-Term Business Income with The Money Answers Show

I’ve always been an entrepreneur. When I went to college, I decided to go into information systems so that I could try these many business ideas so that I could not hire a web developer. That was my interest. My first job out of college was working in a nuclear facility in the middle of the desert. It was really boring because you could not get to do anything without getting 20 signatures on a piece of paper to change a line of code. So I started side hustling and building websites for people of the area. I decided to quit my job and go into the web design world. Unfortunately, in web design, we were always competing on cost. I thought and decided that people really needed traffic and leads rather than mere websites. So I rebranded with trafficandleads.com and we specialized in online marketing and social media marketing. Traffic meaning Facebook ads, SEO, Pay per Click and that kind of things that drive traffic to a landing page. Turning that lead into a lifelong client. Social Media Marketing Today It’s really big at least in the circles that I’m in. I’m still shocked at people who are not doing online marketing because it could really change their business. I think that it’s really big and small businesses should come on board. Can One Get to a Point of Saturation? Yes and no. That’s often a concern of people starting an email marketing campaign. I already get a lot of spam emails, but I personally subscribe to about 5 people who I look forward to their emails. I devour their information and I actually want their information in my inbox. You are not getting people to sign up on your email list just so you can spam on them. This is not the aim of social media marketing. You want people who want to hear from you and are looking forward to your email and need your information. Listen to more of this podcast to get more insight into online and social media marketing. How to Market Your App: Five Ways to Be Successful in the Mobile Marketplace

How to Market Your App: Five Ways to Be Successful in the Mobile Marketplace

How to market your app? As business owners, it’s our job to get the angle on all new marketing strategies. Mobile apps aren’t only handy–they’re a perfect way to spread the word about your business. Apps have been shown to increase customer loyalty overall, in both new and regular clients. It’s exactly why many businesses are trying their hand at app development. But here’s the tricky part: apps don’t market themselves. Just as you need an app to market your business, you need strategies to market your app. It’s not going to market itself, after all. You’ll need to learn how to market your app successfully in order for it to be any use to your business. Learning how to market your app is an art, not a science; there’s no bona fide “right way” to do it. But there are some strategies that have been shown to work well for most people. I’ve got the best ways to help you spread the word about your new app, right here on this list. Whether it’s word of mouth marketing or online marketing strategies, I’ve got them covered. You’ll need to treat your app launch much like you would any product launch; you’ll need a lot of hype and eyes to make it a success. There are millions of apps in both the Android and iPhone/iPad stores. How will you get yours noticed? App creation and marketing can’t be covered entirely in a single article. If you’d like to learn more about how to improve your mobile app strategy and how to market your app, check out my recent podcast interview with Steve Young. Step #1 of How to Market Your App: Research Your Market In order to succeed, you’ll need to know why others apps have succeeded. Just like any product launch, knowing your competition is a big part of how to market your app. This will ensure you avoid any pre-launch pitfalls that other app creators fell straight into. The first step is just heading out into the mobile app store and taking a look at what’s hot. What’s working? What’s not? What are customers saying in the reviews? Make sure to include researching apps that are similar to what your app will be. Check out what categories they’re tagged under, and see if it’s working for them. A big part of how to market your app is paying close attention to the reviews from competitors. Likely, the creators of the apps are either not paying attention to those reviews, or simply aren’t responding fast enough. If you can launch your app while ensuring you don’t make the same mistakes as competitors, you’ll be a step ahead of them. Be sure to jot down your findings so you can access them at a later date. It would be useless for you to gather up all this info, and then forget about it come time for release. Keep careful notes. Include quotes from customers. Include personal notes on what works and what doesn’t for the apps you’ve seen. This is the crucial first step to app success. Step #2 of How to Market Your App: Spread the Word Spreading the word about your app release is important at just about every stage. Pre-launch and post-launch marketing strategies should include...

How to Get Traffic on Website: Sustainable Business Radio Podcast

The name One-Click Lindsey came up due to what our company essentially does, that is, helping people drive traffic and leads to their websites. Our office was based right next to a chiropractor; I finally convinced him to run a traffic and leads campaign. He was kind of reserved about marketing. I told him for that for real results it would take about 3-6 months. Every time, he would ask how his campaign was doing. I told him that we had to manipulate the Facebook ads to reach the target audience, we had to modify the landing page to get people in. We had to make people make that one-click on the landing page, one-click on the Facebook ad and that one-click on the email where you schedule a consultation. I probably said one-click over a million times in the span of 30 days. One day after making adjustments to his landing page, the doctor said, “Well, well, well, if it’s not One-Click Lindsey! Finally, the leads were coming in!” I thought that the name clicked and it was easier to remember than Lindsey Anderson. When people come to the Traffic and Leads Podcast company, we put them through a process. It’s the CLICK technique, which is free and a long term strategy for bringing leads to your website. The C in CLICK is Curiosity. The best way to create curiosity is through content; specifically consistent content. The L stands for Land. You ought to make sure that your Facebook pixel is set and also your Google Analytics. Facebook is an amazing, wonderful marketing tool for small companies. It has changed everything. I stand for Irresistible offers. After you create curiosity and someone lands on your website, you have to give them an irresistible offer. The final C stands for Cultivate which has to do a lot with email marketing. This is essentially cultivating the relationship through an email sequence or inviting them to join you on social media. You can even make an offer. The important thing about cultivating is making a weekly summary of your content. You want to make sure that they remember you when they decide to make a purchase. The K is for Keep going. Once you’ve laid the above foundation you got to keep going in a consistent manner for you to achieve results. Click here to listen to this...

How Business Has Changed with Judy Hoberman

Indeed, how business has changed today. I don’t know if it’s any easier or difficult but it is different. I think it is much easier to create business today. Through online marketing, you can reach out to people all across the world. When I started my company over 12 years ago, in a way, we were just stuck to those around a 50-mile radius. The technology was present but still, people were kind of close-minded. But now people’s minds are open. The cool thing about online marketing today is that with less effort you can see results. Why Traffic and Leads So Important to Your Business? Why are traffic and leads so important to your business? It seems to me that most of my clients are on a roller coaster; they don’t have any leads and they don’t have any new clients. So they have a big marketing push and get a lot of people and they forget about it. Soon, they service all those clients, and now their hands are empty again. However, with online marketing, this can be solved using the right systems. There will always be marketing happening in the background. This includes creating consistent content and email lists. It doesn’t even take a couple of hours to make it happen. You utilize online marketing to create an interest in what you’re selling then afterward you need to create a relationship through a meeting or snail mail. We created the CLICK technique. This is a foundation for online marketing that enables you to do greater things. You have to create consistent content. You should also create irresistible offers to people who visit your website in order for them to opt in. You also need to cultivate them through emails on a regular basis.
